INTRODUCTION
We value your personal data privacy, and we are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice explains how entities within the LUXASIA group collect, use, disclose, process, and manage your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection law.
The LUXASIA group issues this Privacy Notice, and it applies to the handling of personal data by LUXASIA Group Pte. Ltd., its subsidiaries, and affiliates (collectively “LUXASIA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Your use of our websites, microsites, mobile applications, web-based applications, or web-based programs (collectively “Platforms”) in any jurisdiction, as well as your transaction at any point of sale, are subject to this Privacy Notice and the terms and conditions issued by the relevant LUXASIA group company with which you are transacting.
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA
We collect your personal data when it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us (your “Authorised Representative”), after (i) you (or your Authorised Representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and (ii) you (or your Authorised Representative) have provided consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes.
We will obtain your consent to collect and process your personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice at the time of collection, subject to certain legally prescribed circumstances where your consent is not required under applicable laws.
Depending on the nature of the interaction, you may be asked to provide your consent by filling in a form, ticking a box or clicking a button etc. In addition, when you use our Platforms, you consent to us collecting and processing your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
The consent that you provide for the collection and processing of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your Authorised Representative), and you are responsible for ensuring that all personal data submitted to us is complete, accurate, true, and up to date at the time of submission. Please notify us of any changes to your personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer via email using the details provided in the “Contact Us” section below. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, and/or harm suffered by you due to your failure to provide or update your personal data accordingly.
If you do not provide your consent where required, we may not be able to fulfil certain contractual obligations to you, or provide certain products or services to you.
We collect personal data that you knowingly and voluntarily provide to us when you:
- sign up for an account on our Platforms or any point of sale;
- sign up to receive marketing and promotional materials about our brand partner(s) via our Platforms or any point of sale;
- execute any contract with us or purchase any products or services from us;
- visit our retail outlets, counters, stores, events, or pop-up stores;
- fill in forms at our retail outlets, counters, stores, events, or pop-up stores;
- receive product samples, beauty treatment, or advisory services at our retail outlets, counters, stores, events, or pop-up stores;
- participate in any event organised by us or our affiliated service provider(s);
- take part in our surveys, focus groups, or market research activities;
- contact us via any communication channels (e.g. email, phone, SMS, social media platforms, or otherwise) for any query or to provide feedback; and/or
- use services delivered via new technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality applications.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU
For purposes of this Privacy Notice, personal data means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. It does not include anonymous data where identifying details have been removed such that the individual can no longer be identified.
The types of personal data that we may collect from you include the following:
Basic Personal Data
- Identity Data includes your first name, last name, national identification documentation, as well as photographs, CCTV, video recordings and/or audio recordings (calls will only be recorded where a clear voice notification is provided at the commencement of the call) of you;
- Contact Data includes your email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, and/or social network details;
- Demographic Data includes your age, gender, race, ethnicity, marital status, estimated income, and/or household information;
- Psychographic Data includes your interests, preferences, values, hobbies, and/or lifestyle information;
- Profile Data includes your username and password, purchase or order history, feedback, survey responses and/or records of your communications with us through various channels, including correspondence, instant messaging conversations, and enquiry logs;
- Financial Data includes your banking information, payment card details, and/or digital wallet details;
- Usage Data includes information about your browser type, IP addresses, and/or how you use our Platforms, products, and services; and/or
- Geolocation Data includes information that enables us to determine your location, such as when you enable your browser or mobile device to send us precise location information.
We may provide our customers with access to certain tools or services offered by our brand partners, such as virtual try-on or skin analysis tools. Where you choose to use such tools or services, your personal data may be collected and processed by the relevant brand partner in accordance with its privacy policy.
Sensitive Personal Data:
We may sometimes collect certain categories of sensitive personal data from you. We will only do so where it is necessary for the purpose set out in this Privacy Notice, and where permitted by applicable laws and regulations, including where we have obtained your consent or where another lawful basis applies.
Sensitive personal data generally refers to personal data that is subject to a higher level of protection under applicable laws and may include information relating to your physical or mental health or condition. The sensitive personal data that we may collect from you includes health and medical data such as information relating to your medical history, allergies, hair conditions, and/or skin conditions.
When you use our virtual try-on or skin analysis tools, we may temporarily access your photographs or facial image data. Such data is processed locally and in real time only while you are using the relevant feature. We do not permanently store, retain, or otherwise maintain your biometric image data on our servers.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We may collect, use, and process your personal data based on your consent, our legitimate interests, our legal obligations, and the necessity to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.
Subject to applicable laws, we may use your personal data together with other information we collect to:
- perform or carry out contractual obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the purchase and delivery of products and/or services;
- enable our subcontractors, third-party agents, and service providers to fulfil our obligations as stipulated in your contract with us (where applicable);
- process billing, payment, refunds, and/or other credit-related activities arising from your transaction with us;
- administer, maintain and update your records in our databases;
- monitor and maintain a copy of your record of previous transactions with us;
- facilitate the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of our products, services, programmes, activities, and/or events;
- develop, plan, monitor, and enhance the provision of new products, services, projects, programmes, activities, and/or events;
- provide personalised recommendations of relevant products and/or services to you via various communication channels, including email, SMS, voice call, social messaging applications, and in-person communication;
- conduct direct or indirect marketing activities, advertising, and promotional activities on our Platforms or through other communication channels;
- perform cross-marketing activities (e.g. you may receive recommendations of products and/or services from our other brand partners in addition to the brand partner(s) that you signed up for);
- conduct research, and data analysis for business and administrative purposes;
- develop, train, test, and use artificial intelligence technologies models and automated systems, including for analytics and service enhancement purposes, where permitted under applicable laws;
- improve our customer service, products, and/or services through your feedback and recommendations;
- process your inquiries, requests, complaints, and/or feedback, and any other ancillary administrative purposes;
- facilitate relevant legal, regulatory, investigatory, and/or enforcement purposes;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests from governmental authorities;
- conduct security, surveillance, auditing, and monitoring activities;
- protect or defend our business, property, services, and legal rights;
- prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, misconduct, and/or other unlawful activities;
- take emergency measures to safeguard the safety and security of our customers, personnel, and members of the public; and/or
- facilitate and support any other purposes reasonably related to or incidental to each of all the purposes set out above.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA
We may share or disclose some or all of your personal data to the following parties for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice:
- any entity within the LUXASIA group, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and ultimate holding company;
- Facebook, Google, TikTok, or any social media platforms that we may use from time to time, where you use your account with such platforms to sign up or log in to our Platforms (if applicable). Any personal data disclosed to our Platforms will be limited to that which is necessary for authentication and login purposes;
- our brand partners. We will only share your personal data with brand partner for direct marketing purposes where we have obtained your explicit consent. In such circumstances, your personal data will be processed by the relevant brand partner as an independent data user/controller and will be subject to that brand partner’s own terms and conditions and privacy policy. Before consenting to the disclosure of your personal data, you should carefully review the relevant brand partner’s terms and conditions and privacy policy;
- service providers, suppliers, subcontractors, or agents engaged by us;
- professional advisers, including consultants, bankers, lawyers, insurers, and auditors who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance, and accounting or other similar services to us;
- Government agencies or other supervisory, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities;
- any person or entity to whom disclosure is required or requested by any court of competent jurisdiction or by any governmental, taxation, or other regulatory authority, law enforcement agency, or similar body;
- analytics and search engine providers that assist us in improving and optimising our Platforms; and/or
- any party that acquires, or is a potential acquirer of, us or substantially all of our assets.
MINOR’S PRIVACY
If you are under 16 years of age, you may browse our Platforms. However, you may not provide any personal data to us. Our Platforms are not designed for persons under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
As a parent or legal guardian, please do not allow minors under your care to submit personal data to us. If such personal data of a minor is disclosed to us, you hereby consent to the processing of the minor’s personal data, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Notice and take responsibility for his or her actions.
LOCATION AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
We may collect and process your personal data in countries other than your country of residence or the country from which you provided us with your personal data. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you reside or from which you provided your personal data. Where there is a need to transfer your personal data to other countries for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, we will ensure that such transfers are subject to safeguards providing a level of protection comparable to that afforded under the applicable data protections laws in your country.
RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected as outlined in this Privacy Notice, to satisfy our business or legal requirements, to resolve disputes, and/or to troubleshoot problems. In determining the retention period, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. In addition, certain information may be stored indefinitely due to technical constraints. In such cases, the data will be restricted from further processing for purposes that are not required by law.
If you choose to unsubscribe from our mailing list or should your membership to any of LUXASIA group’s membership programmes expire, we may still retain your personal data in our database to the extent permitted by law and LUXASIA group’s data retention policy.
SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
All electronic storage and transmission of your personal data are secured and stored on managed servers with controlled access and appropriate security measures.
We implement a variety of organisational, information security, and technical measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, destruction, unauthorised access, unauthorised modification, or similar risks. To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data, access to such data is restricted on a need-to-know basis.
When we engage third parties to process personal data on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that they provide sufficient guarantees and implement appropriate organisational, information security, and technical measures to protect your personal data.
You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we cannot guarantee absolute security, we strive to protect your personal data and continuously review and enhance our information security measures.
USE OF COOKIES
We use cookies to collect information about your online activity on our Platforms. A cookie is a small text file created by a website that is stored in your computer to provide a way for the website to recognise you and keep track of your preferences. Cookies help improve your user experience by allowing you to revisit the website or complete electronic forms without having to re-enter the same information.

While some of the Third-Party Sites may display our logo or trademark, we are not responsible for the privacy notices and the data collection practices of such Third-Party Sites. We strongly encourage you to check the privacy notice of each website that you visit. Your use of such Third-Party Sites is at your own risk, and we disclaim any responsibility or liability arising from the privacy practices or data collection activities of such Third-Party Sites.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to obtain access to, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability of your personal data. You can also request us to stop collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above, object to the processing of your personal data or withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that the withdrawal of consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
